Aircraft Maintenance Program Manager


Aircraft Maintenance Job Summary

Act as a liaison between the customer and maintenance to ensure that the projects are on task and completed.  Additionally, maintain an open line of communication to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Program Manager Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Planning and scheduling of aircraft maintenance tasks
  • Bid and proposal preparation
  • Issue, monitor and maintain customer provided work plans/packages
  • Assist with manpower planning
  • Understand and fulfill all customer contractual obligations to include invoicing
  • Responsible for researching and obtaining the required materials/tooling needed and checking parts availability
  • Create and maintain reports and other data to management
  • Inventory Control
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A & P Mechanic licensed is preferred; however, equivalent training and/or experience will be given consideration

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS 

Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and be familiar with e-mail and the Internet.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must possess the following strengths:  strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and excellent problem solving skills.  Must be able to learn and understand basic technical terminology and concepts related to aircraft maintenance and airline operations.
