Pilot-In-Command


Job Summary:

The Pilot-In-Command will ensure that assigned flights are conducted in the safest manner possible, determine flight routes, speed, and take off and landing times to fulfill scheduling requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pilot corporate aircraft
  • Fulfillment of work schedules
  • Adherence to attendance policies
  • Pre-flight inspection of aircraft
  • Prepare operational reports and budgets
  • Check and Evaluate flight plan and weather
  • Maintain and record company flight records
  • Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
  • Other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job

Job Requirements:

  • Must stay current with federal and local flight regulation and must possess current airline transport pilot (ATP) certificate with necessary type ratings
  • Must submit to, and pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test, criminal background investigation, and FAA aviation records investigation
  • Must have clean flight history with no accidents, incidents, DUIs or certificate actions (current or pending)
  • Great aircraft control skills
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to service and occupational excellence
  • Requires a minimum of 2,000 total hours, multi-engine turbo jet 1,200+ hours and PIC 400+ hours
  • Knowledge of weather, aircraft systems, air traffic control, navigation and radio communication
  • Ability to move to all areas of aircraft, hangar, and to all areas of any airport
  • Ability to generate written communication as well as read and review correspondence
  • Must have excellent communication skills

License Requirements:        

  • Valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license
  • Valid driver’s license
  • FAA Class II medical certificate
  • Current FFI Executive physical certificate
  • G150 type rating preferred
  • Valid aeronautical radiotelephone license

Education Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree from an accredited institution
  • Flight training through FAA approved flight school or military flight training programs
