TASS – Ground Mission Maintenance System (GMMS) Specialist


Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshoot and test to all TASS System in general
  • Provide Ground Mission Maintenance System (GMMS) training
  • Provide Formal Classroom Training
  • Develop training planning programs
  • Develop training reports
  • Analyze and Maintain ALL TASS System (Airplane & Trainer & Ground station)
  • Document and update maintenance and supply forms in accordance with RSAF manuals (66-1 &67-I)
  • Create SKT, annual, and phase questions tests
  • Attend meetings to discuss, evaluate and analyze problems
  • Conduct the on the job training in accordance with RSAF Manual 105-8 series following the Specialty Training Standards (STS) approved by Directory of Air Training DAT)
  • Perform Fault diagnosis using BITE
  • Replace LRUs (Line Replacement Units)
  • Perform TASS scheduled tasks inspections in (phase), Simulator and Station (GPS)

Job Requirements:

  • Maintenance Technician course mandatory
  • Able to troubleshoot and test
  • Ability to communicate problem
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams
  • Expert level proficiency TASS or equivalent system Special Systems Technician is mandatory
  • Completion of USAFSC A2A2X2 Airborne Maintenance Technician course (or RSAFSC Specialty 175X0 on TASS) or equivalent operator’s is mandatory
  • Knowledge of safety regulations mandated by RSAF Manual 4-14201 (RSAFM 78-2)
  • Ability to read, to speak, and to write English professionally is mandatory
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing systems
  • Knowledge and proficient in using technical publication relating to work responsibility
  • Knowledge and proficient in using various types of computer hardware and Microsoft software and general office equipment
  • Knowledge of techniques and methods of instruction, learning process, training evaluations, automated training system and products and training reporting procedures following the master training plan(MTP) approved by RSAF

Experience required:

  • Five (5) years maintaining TASS systems or equivalent systems at the expert level is mandatory
  • Five (5) years’ experience on Airborne Ground Mission Maintenance for TASS Systems or equivalent systems is mandatory
  • Experience with TASS Trainer / Stimulators and Ground Station is mandatory
  • 7 or 9 skill level
