Airport Finance Director – Remote

Job Summary
The employer is seeking a finance professional with experience in determining, developing, and delivering innovative strategies and solutions to existing and potential clients. The ideal candidate would have experience in developing financial models, preparing financial analyses and projections, completing PFC applications, and solving finance-related problems experienced by airports. The company is seeking a talented and creative team player who is passionate about airport financial consulting, and who thrives in developing new techniques and innovations for the airport industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage employees to ensure they are properly trained and prepared to meet project objectives.
- Identify and manage new business opportunities, gaining prospective clients by participating in the development of RFP responses and other needs.
- Perform client and project management.
- Assess financial modeling developed by staff for:
- Airline rates & charges
- Lease negotiations
- Airport capital funding analyses
- Bond Feasibility Studies
- Airport revenues
- Provide financial analysis required for the Airport Master Plan
- Provide financial analysis for Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) applications and Customer Facility Charge (CFC) analysis
- Other aspects of airport financial consulting
- Financial report writing
- Benchmarking analyses
- Related work as required
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a field that provides a strong foundation for aviation financial consulting, such as Aviation Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics ( Bachelor’s degree may be considered)
- Minimum of five years’ professional experience in airport finance
- Must have hands-0n modeling experience
- Must have consulting experience
- Must have experience working with more than one airport
- Extensive knowledge of best practices, methods, and principles utilized in strategic financial planning for airports
- Extensive knowledge of analytical techniques and related tools including statistical, spreadsheet, and database applications
- Ability to maintain effective working relations with senior executives and staff at client organizations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to supervise and manage project resources
- Willingness to travel
