Assembly Technician – Aerospace Manufacturing

PLEASE NOTE: This position requires the candidate be able to work in the U.S. WITHOUT the need for visa sponsorship!

This is a full time/direct hire position offering a competitive salary and bonus structure with full benefits package. 

We are seeking a motivated Assembly Technician to help us build a revolutionary ‘lighter than air’ flight vehicle in Nevada. This position involves working with our dynamic team of engineers, designers, and technicians to fabricate and integrate large structures for experimental flight vehicles. We believe in fast-cycle development and approach flight hardware with the motto “build a little, test a little, learn a lot.”

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work in a manufacturing environment building R&D products
  • Assemble airship skin section by hand
  • Ensure documents are accurate and signed off as well as keep travelers with jobs
  • Develops 100% quality products from raw material every time
  • Manages and prioritizes multiple tasks
  • Prepare sample coupons for testing and validation, ensure accurate weights, measure & record all data
  • Tracks material usage and scrap
  • Must have the dexterity for gluing and taping operations
  • Work closely with the team to reduce cycle times while improving quality
  • Must be able to easily adapt to change
  • Working knowledge of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers & tape measures


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Requires a highly organized individual, who is disciplined and self-motivated, one who can work independently- setting priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Crucial – Must be able to read and take measurements
  • Excellent communicator/ fluent in English
  • Highly adaptable and able to thrive in an ambiguous environment
  • Willing and able to cross-train
  • Ambitious/quick learner
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding fast-paced environment
  • Prefer someone with Manufacturing Background or R&D Background

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours daily
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 lbs
  • Must be able to work with simple hand tools
