This is a full time/direct hire position offering a competitive salary with full benefits package.

Title of position:  Accounting Associate

Employment location:  Boca Raton, FL

Position Summary:

The employer is seeking to hire an Accounting Associate to become an integral part of their team with knowledge and experience in the Aviation field and systems such as QuickBooks Desktop, FOS and Total FBO.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable – Invoice customers daily as needed, including revisions and invoice breakdown in QuickBooks
• Credit Card Reconciliation – Run credit card transaction reports daily / reconcile / coding / matching / posting / researching by using bank reports, FOS system reports, matching platform, and QuickBooks desktop
• Assist others, when necessary, special projects when / as needed.
• Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards
• Ensure all tasks are processed timely and accurately

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in billing, reconciliations, payables, or other related fields
• Efficient in data entry and Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word Must have 3-5 years knowledge / industry experience and QuickBooks desktop version
• PREFERRED NOT REQUIRED!!! – Knowledge of FOS (Flight Operations System software) and Total FBO software is a just plus – not required!
• Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team player, adapts well to change and considerate of others / surroundings
• Understanding of the importance of following procedures and asking questions
