Aviation Business Development Manager – Part 135 Charter Industry

This is a full time/direct hire position offering a competitive salary with full benefits package. 


The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving new business through effective outreach, qualification, and relationships. In this role, the individual will be responsible for generating and closing new charter business opportunities within the Greater Northeast area. A key contributor to the Charter Sales team, a BDM will follow a repeatable process to increase the number of net new clients acquired.

Job Description:

  • Source leads from your existing network within the aviation industry.
  • Identifies prospects and secures new operators.
  • Conducts market research to determine new market opportunities.
  • Discover high value solutions to complex operational problems.


  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the aviation industry, preferably Part 135 or comparable.
  • Experience in sales, marketing preferably in the Charter Aviation Industry
  • Connected with key points of contact within industry organizations and can establish strategic alliances.
  • Skilled at navigating new territories, opening doors, and making introductions to stakeholders and account teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and sales statistics, and translate results into numbers and solutions
  • Proficient client advocate & communicator – you plan ahead for client needs
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent with a knack to draw out clients virtually or on the road
  • Able to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel.
