Business Development Manager (PT6 Engines)
Responsibilities:.
- Expand the customer base for new and renewed business for engine sales/leasing, component, modification, Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO), 3rd party revenue, and integrated logistics agreements.
- Negotiate and close transactions working closely with legal, finance, commercial group, and other related departments
- Maintain client and product information databases for use by sales and others at the company
- Manage the post contract award handover to Key Account Manager
- Identify new sales opportunities.
- Ensure margins are met.
- Provide market intelligence to Commercial Group and Business Development.
- Ensure cash collections from customers.
- Plan budget and monitor appropriately.
- International travel required.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 (current) years of engine sales/leasing and or engine MRO/FAR 145 sales experience.
- A Degree in Business Management or equivalent education, training and experience.
- Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent collaborative problem solving skills with an ability to implement solutions
- Ability to lead in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
