Business Development Manager (PT6 Engines)


Responsibilities:.

  • ¬†Expand the customer base for new and renewed business for engine sales/leasing, component, modification, Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO), 3rd party revenue, and integrated logistics agreements.
  • Negotiate and close transactions working closely with legal, finance, commercial group, and other related departments
  • Maintain client and product information databases for use by sales and others at the company
  • Manage the post contract award handover to Key Account Manager
  • Identify new sales opportunities.
  • Ensure margins are met.
  • Provide market intelligence to Commercial Group and Business Development.
  • Ensure cash collections from customers.
  • Plan budget and monitor appropriately.
  • International travel required.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 (current) years of engine sales/leasing and or engine MRO/FAR 145 sales experience.
  • A Degree in Business Management or equivalent education, training and experience.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent collaborative problem solving skills with an ability to implement solutions
  • Ability to lead in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
