DIRECTOR OF TRAINING – PART 135 FLIGHT OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT

This position offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of customers and employees and be involved in the daily flight operation. The Director of Training will develop, and maintain training materials and records, and is responsible for providing support in regards to the flight ops department’s overall training needs. The successful candidate will have a background experience flying CASA 212 and/or Dornier 228 and/or DHC-8 aircraft, experience as a check airman and company instructor, or other management experience with the training and checking of pilots and crew members.

Requirements:

Minimum 5000 Total Time
PIC – 4000 Total Hours
PIC airplane multi engine land 3000 hours
PIC Turbo Prop 2000 Hours
1000 Hours PIC Large Aircraft
500 Low Level
ATP
Valid First Class Medical.

Preferred 7500 Total Time – 5000 Hours PIC Turbine Multi-Engine with Smoke Jumper Pilot Experience

Strong computer background including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent organization and administration skills

Be able to work effectively under time constraints and pressure

International operations and military experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Fly company aircraft on charter and contract

Work closely with appropriate people to develop and maintain training materials and records, TSA records, Hazmat record, flight logs and pilot records

Help supervise all pilots to ensure standard operating procedures are adhered to.
