Job Title: Director of Training (Training Course Manager for A320 Type Rating)

Employment Location:   Fort Lauderdale, FL – KFXE Airport (Hybrid schedule – in-office and remote)

Job Overview:

A Part 142 Flight Training Center is seeking a highly qualified Director of Training (Training Course Manager) with a primary focus on the A320 type rating program. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in aviation training, regulatory compliance, and program management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of the Part 142 training program, ensuring strict compliance with FAA regulations.
2. Develop, implement,  and  maintain A320  type  rating  training  programs,  including  course  materials, schedules, and instructional methodologies.
3. Supervise and mentor a team of instructors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training.
4. Coordinate with the FAA to ensure all training programs meet regulatory standards.
5. Oversee training resources, including simulators and other instructional equipment.
6. Conduct regular audits and evaluations of training programs to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

1. REQUIRED AND MANDADTORY:  Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation training within a Part 142 training environment.
2. In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations related to Part 142 training (14 CFR 142, 8900, and etc).
3. Proven track record in developing training curriculums, programs, and standardization processes.
4. Strong organizational and communication skills.

License/Certification:

• Airline Transport Pilot License (mandatory)
• A320 Type Rating (mandatory)
• Valid CFII with MEL and IR (preferred)
