FAR 91 Chief Pilot (King Air 350) – Birmingham, AL

This is a full time/direct hire position offering a competitive salary with full benefits package.

Title of position:  FAR 91 Chief Pilot (must be typed in BE-300!)

Employment location:  Birmingham, AL (company will pay for relocation!!)

JOB SUMMARY

FAR 91 corporate flight department looking to hire a BE-300 typed Chief Pilot to manage their Part 91 flight department which currently consists of a King Air 350 aircraft.   Chief Pilot will be responsible for managing all aspects of company’s King Air 350 from scheduling to maintenance, etc.

The company’s King Air 350  is always flown with two pilots.  The Chief Pilot will be responsible to source, hire and manage a full time co-pilot that is capable of being type rated for the King Air 350 (BE-300 type rating).   The company has been using contracted co-pilots but would like to hire a full-time BE-300 Co-pilot now.

Company flies mostly on weekdays – 3 to 4 trips a week – average 40 hours per month.   Schedules are made at least 2 days in advance.    Most flights are day trips – and very little if any international flights (domestic US only).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• ATP license
• 4000 hrs min. total time
• Typed in BE-300 with a min. of 1500 flight time in King Air 350
• First Class Medical
• US Passport
• Experience flying Part 91 is preferred
• Company will be adding a LR 60XR to their flight department in the next few months – so a candidate with both BE-300 and LR-60 type ratings is HIGHLY DESIRABLE!!!
