This is a full time/direct hire position offering a competitive salary with full benefits package.
Perform and instruct in the assembly, subassembly and final assembly of the product. Set up and perform tests according to written procedures; record the resulting data and product performance.
In addition to performing the requirements of a Technician A, the Lead Technician must have a complete and thorough knowledge of the requirements in our General Personnel Training Procedure/Outline. This individual will also be responsible for the distribution of work assignments, as directed by the Supervisor. They will lead and assist technicians to assure that productivity and quality standards are met. They will be required to inform the Supervisor of departmental productivity status and problems related to productivity, quality, and equipment. This individual will make recommendations to the Supervisor of the need for training amongst the group. The Lead Technician may also be required to perform other duties, as directed by the Supervisor.
Minimum High School Diploma or Vocational School Graduate
Minimum of ten years mechanical assembly and testing. Must be able to instruct others in assembly drawings and assist in resolution of technical problems.
