Manager of Aviation Training


Qualifications

The following outlines our minimum requirements for applicants:

  • The Manager of Aviation Training will have a detailed knowledge and understanding of training requirements for Pilots, Flight Attendants and Flight Followers.
  • The Manager of Aviation Training is responsible for training documentation and coordinating training requirements for Pilots, Flight Attendants and Flight Followers.
  • Rely on guidance in the FAA approved training programs for Pilots, Flight Attendants and Flight Follower in the scheduling and assignments of personnel to training.
  • Responsible for maintaining Pilot, Flight Attendant and Flight Followers training records in the company electronic record keeping system.
  • Responsible for entering, maintaining and auditing Pilot Qualifications Records in Wyvern Online Database.
  • Ensures all training complies with the company’s FAA approved training program.
  • Ensures that required audits are conducted on all 14 CFR Part 142 training centers used and reports provided to the FAA Principal Operations inspector at least every 24 months.
  • Assist in conduct of actual training. Participates as a ground instructor on Company specific curriculum segments.
  • Must have an aviation background for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Must be proficient in record keeping procedures
  • Must be proficient in PowerPoint presentations, Learning Management or Computer/Web-Based Training programs.
  • Preferably, prior 121 training experience.
  • Must be able to travel, work independently, and be self-motivated.
  • Must reside in Greensboro, NC.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Assists the Director of Operations with oversight of the Flight Crew and Cabin Crew Training department and Training Programs.

  • Reports to the Director of Operations.
  • Has application oversight of the Flight Crew and Cabin Crew Training Programs.
  • Responsible for maintaining training records.
  • Responsible for development of training courses, updating current courses due to subject matter or manual changes.
  • Be able to conduct live classroom training.
  • Other duties as assigned
