Reports to the Director, Quality
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Monitors and reviews existing Airworthiness Directives and schedule for accomplishment any required repetitive actions in accordance with the time frame specified by the Airworthiness Directive.
Interfaces with the Manager, Maintenance Control on new Airworthiness Directives to determine and ensure proper applicability and maintenance scheduling.
Verify the currency, content and accuracy of aircraft and component maintenance records and work packages including alterations, modifications and Airworthiness Directive compliance.
Maintains and keeps current a list of all Major Repairs and Alterations for FAA review.
Updates all airframe, engine, component and appliance records related to Airworthiness Directive compliance and ensures the proper tracking of repetitive actions required by any Airworthiness Directive.
Provide records review and research for new aircraft transitioning into Company Fleet.
Enters all data into the Company CMTS for the programming and tracking of all maintenance and inspection functions in order to track all routine and non-routine maintenance repetitive requirements and produce an accurate forecast report.
Coordinate all CAMP and TLM changes with the Director, Maintenance and the FAA for approval and incorporation into the Company programs.
Verify all data is entered into the Forecast Report for the tracking of all Maintenance and Inspection items including repetitive Airworthiness Directive actions and short-term escalations
Responsible for the weekly planning meeting ensuring maintenance program tasks, airworthiness directives and required service bulletins are scheduled and performed.
Review Maintenance Planning Data (MPD,) Maintenance Review Board (MRB), FAR, and other Regulatory changes that may affect maintenance programs or Time Limitations Documents.
Review all STCs, Service Bulletins and other Modifications and their corresponding Instructions for Continued Airworthiness.
Monitors and reviews new Airworthiness Directives and initiates form 21A-MF-12, found in the AviationDocs, for accomplishment of any required actions in accordance with the time frame specified by the Airworthiness Directive.
Work closely with maintenance department regarding work scope and flow, work scope changes, fleet campaign and maintenance orders and provide input in providing reliable Estimated Time of Release (ETR) from maintenance.
Notifies maintenance control of upcoming maintenance requirements as tracked on the forecast report.
Coordinates the organization of all work packages into a manageable format
Plans and issues work packages/orders for the accomplishment of routine and non-routine maintenance.
Set up and maintain all STC technical documentation for historical and FAA requirements.
Source and obtain documentation as needed within the maintenance department.
Develops task cards and provides assistance with maintenance program manual revision.
Set up and maintain Instruction for Continued Airworthiness ICAs for modifications and alterations to aircraft by ship number.
Review Service Bulletins for applicability and bring recommendations to the CASS Manager and DOM for review and possible issuance to the applicable aircraft.
Performs any additional duties deemed appropriate by the Director, Quality.
