National Accounts Manager


Location:    Los Angeles, California

Job Description:

Strategically manage assigned National and International accounts, and manage and build a pipeline of new business opportunities of corporate customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and set strategic account plans with assigned portfolio of National Accounts
  • Negotiate and implement all annual incentive agreements with assigned portfolio of National Accounts
  • Actively manage and monitor contract performance throughout the contract period
  • Create and implement account development plans for assigned portfolio of clients
  • Work with the Account Development Manager to implement account training and calling plan at consultant level
  • Monitor account activity conducted by Account Development Manager for their assigned portfolio
  • Work with the market development team to identify and implement appropriate paid market development activities to help drive and stimulate business growth
  • Identify new targeted revenue streams for Line of Business (LOBs) e.g. MasterCard, Banking, Energy Resource Marine, Missionary, etc.
  • Actively communicate with Sales Operations team to share market and account intelligence and work on multi account plans where appropriate
  • Actively communicate Account Development plans with Account Development Managers to ensure training and calls plans are being implemented

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Management Science or Statistics
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Sales Planning, Sales Strategy, Commercial Revenue Management, or Finance
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data integration software skills including spreadsheets, databases, and Microsoft CRM
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong knowledge of, and experience with, performance reports and internal and external data sources such as Hoovers, Prism, MIDT and other B2B or B2C data providers
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to partner with others, and deal effectively with multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Proven experience with data analysis, interpretation and business plan development in a sales or marketing team
  • Demonstrated strong written and spoken communication skills with the ability to develop and articulate actionable, fact-based insights and recommendations (Deliver this by telling a simple, compelling story to varying types of audiences to guide decision-making, from field sales to senior management.)
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
