Job Summary:
• Sky diving company looking for an experienced General Aviation Mechanic who will travel to multi-location sites to work on company aircraft – to include two PAC 750XL aircraft and ten Cessna 182 aircraft. Home-based at one drop zone, and willing to travel to other locations to include Miami, Charleston, NYC North, NYC South, DC, Detroit, Dallas, LA, and Northern Michigan.
Job Qualifications:
• The GA Mechanic will be responsible for routine fleet maintenance, inspections, records keeping and sign-offs, as well as project and mod work, to include engine changes and skydive mods.
• The GA Mechanic will work with local mechanics on scheduling and performing maintenance.
• The GA Mechanic must be able to respond to AOG needs on short notice, willing and able to travel to aircraft at multiple locations.
• The GA Mechanic will work with local mechanics on scheduling and performing maintenance. The company will provide a remote agent to assist in scheduling maintenance, ordering parts, and record keeping.
Qualifications:
• FAA A&P license required; IA certification strongly preferred.
• Preferred experience: Cessna 182 and turbine experience.
