Job Summary
The employer is a company that is focused on the fixed-based operator (“FBO”) sector and has been rapidly growing through the acquisition of FBO locations with significant capital to continue to grow the business through future acquisitions. The company is looking for a qualified A&P Mechanic that can fit in quickly, have a positive attitude, and that has General Aviation and Corporate experience.

Primary Purpose of the Position

This position works as a team member performing inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Corporate and General Aviation aircraft. The successful candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality.

Essential Functions

• Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies.
• Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Keep a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform job duties in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 Minimum Qualifications

• Airframe and Power plant (A&P) Certificate
• 2 or more years of General Aviation and / or Corporate aircraft maintenance experience
• Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals.
• Possess adequate tools.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Avionics experience.
