Title of position: VP of Business Development/Sales

As the VP of Business Development/Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and establishing partnerships across the MEA region, and other designated territories, as needed. You will be responsible for creating and executing revenue business plans, engaging with key aviation organizations, and promoting the company’s services for Business Aviation clients in USA.
Key responsibilities and roles:
Strategic Planning and Market Expansion:
• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with the company’s long-term growth objectives.
• Create actionable plans to expand the company’s market presence, products, or services in alignment with the overall strategic goals in the United States market
• Oversee the planning and execution of entry into new markets sectors. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
• Develop strategies for sourcing potential clients or business partners in Commercial Aviation and Business Aviation and maintaining a pipeline of prospective leads.
• Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Develop proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new business deals.
Revenue Business Planning
• Develop and manage comprehensive revenue business plans for the MEA Region, and other designated regions, as may be required from time to time, aligning them with the company’s growth objectives.
Reporting and Performance Analysis:
• Provide regular updates to senior management on business development initiatives, progress, and performance.
• Track success, optimize business development efforts, and monitor key performance metrics to measure growth and identify areas for improvement.
Events Support:
• Represent the company at industry events, supporting sponsorships and thought leadership activities to increase brand awareness and credibility.
Marketing Program Development:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop regionally relevant and culturally appropriate content for the company’s marketing initiatives.
Industry Partnerships:
• Identify, establish and nurture strategic partnerships with leading aviation
organizations such as AACO, MEBA and others as needed to enhance the company’s industry presence. Negotiate and manage joint ventures, collaborations, and partnerships to expand market reach and service offerings.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Engage with Northwell CEMS and Holdings stakeholders, marketing, sales, product development, and finance teams to ensure alignment on goals and strategy,
as well as the development, and delivery of products and services for the company.
Qualifications:
– 5 years minimum BD/Sales leadership experience – managing a team of Sales Specialists in remote areas of the US
– 5 years minimum Air Medical Industry sales experience preferred
– Proven success selling SaaS to FAR 135 Charter and Air Medical Services companies is preferred
– This role demands a strategic mindset, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to drive growth in alignment with the company’s objectives.
– Ability to efficiently manage time and focus on high impact initiatives, potentially working on key strategic projects, specific client engagements, or business proposals that drive revenue growth without needing full-time involvement.
