The job market has changed dramatically over the last several weeks – COVID-19 has impacted the aviation job market in a way none of us could have predicted. 

Before the pandemic, aviation professionals experienced a level of career growth and stability the aerospace industry has not seen for over 3 decades allowing a vast majority of candidates to require a remote or ‘work-from-home’ option before considering alternative employment opportunities.  However, in this new job market we are now experiencing due to COVID-19 (i.e., more candidates than jobs) candidates may need to be more flexible to land their next career move – and being willing to relocate (at the company’s expense) may be the distinguishing factor between applying for a job and landing one. Candidates who are willing to relocate to the employment location (at the company’s expense) will be far more successful in receiving employment offer(s) than candidates requiring a remote or ‘work-from-home’ option.
