Position Summary

Are you an A&P Mechanic that enjoys teaching others your skill? Do you have a positive and upbeat attitude? Would you like to share your experience to individuals keen to learn new skills? The employer is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to teach, guide and mentor fresh A&P’s and apprentices required skills to work on aircraft.

Job Responsibilities

• Working with Apprentices to effectively teach/train the following
  • Repair Station Manual (RSM)
  • FAA Regulations
  • Reading Technical Manuals
  • Repair, maintain and inspect the structural, mechanical and electronic elements of the aircraft
• Provide immediate feedback as well as perform quarterly reviews with apprentices
• Serves as a role model for ethical behavior and maintains a professional, dignified work environment
• Teach and complete required paperwork for the aircraft
• Help Apprentices complete On the Job (OJT) Training forms

Job Requirements

• A&P License with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Previous jobs in either coaching or mentoring preferred but not required
• Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all organizational levels
• Prioritize workload to maintain schedules for assigned trainees and aircraft
