Aviation Maintenance Technician (FAR 135 flight operation) – Homa, LA

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accomplishing all work assigned to him/her in accordance with policies, procedures and specifications as set forth in the Company’s and the manufacturers’ manuals.
- Ensuring all aircraft are maintained to the highest airworthy and cosmetic standards and always reflect company standards.
- Signing, recording and assuming responsibility for all work he/she performs.
- Maintaining an attitude of alertness concerning possible unsafe or hazardous practices by him/her or other personnel which might be injurious to personnel or property.
- Reporting all hazardous practices and equipment to his/her Lead Aviation Maintenance Technician.
- Performing proficient and timely receiving inspections on incoming direct ship parts, stock transfer receipts and core parts handling when at a base without supply personnel.
- Using all Company tools, parts, equipment, and materials properly and efficiently.
- Communicating daily with the assigned flight crews with respect to the aircraft condition and ongoing maintenance to ensure the highest level of teamwork and visibility is achieved.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work area to include personal and shop equipment.
- Maintaining a clean work area during and after all job functions;
- Providing on-the-job instruction and supervision of personnel assigned to assist him/her.
- Staying current on manual changes, policy changes and rules concerning general conduct; and
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid FAA A&P license required.
- Minimum of two years’ rotorcraft maintenance experience required.
- Must be able to operate MS Office Suite and Some Web-Based Computer Programs, (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Must be available to work overtime as required;
- Must be able to travel internationally as required;
- Must possess or be able to possess a valid Passport;
- Previous training or experience with company specific airframes preferred;
- Must be able to operate MS Office Suite and Some Web-Based Computer Programs, (Excel, Word, and Outlook);
- Previous Avionics or Sheet metal experience a plus;
- Must be detail orientate, fast learner, and be a self-starter.
