This is a full time/direct hire position offering a competitive salary with full benefits package.

Title of position:  Avionics Technician

Employment Location:  Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities:

Avionics systems repair and installations.

• Strong corporate aircraft avionics system troubleshooting skills a must.
• Performs system configurations, and use of test equipment for systems checks.
• Installs wire bundles and wiring harnesses.
• Will be working in conjunction with engineering teams, customers, etc., strong communication skills needed.
• Upload navigation databases, charts EGPWS, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 5 years or more related experience.
• Strong knowledge on use of wiring schematics, blueprints, manuals etc.
• Ability to solve problems and work unsupervised.
• Sheet metal knowledge a plus.
• Ability to work overtime and have weekend standby as assigned.
• Ability to purchase and maintain tools as required.
• Wiring harness layout and fabrication knowledge.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A&P Certificate a plus.
• Electrical installation, troubleshooting etc. training a plus.
