CONFIDENTIAL FAR 135/91 Chief Pilot employment opportunity

FAR 135/91 is seeking an experienced FAR 135 PIC to fill their FAR 135/91 Chief Pilot position (candidate does not have to have been a previous FAR 135 Chief Pilot to qualify for this leadership opportunity). Company offers EXCELLENT salary, benefits, and relocation assistance (if needed).
Applicants must have:
- A minimum of three-years current experience as FAR 135 PIC for a Part 135 carrier operating multiple jet aircraft
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3500 hours total time flown and a valid ATP license
- PREFERRED (NOT required!): PIC type rating in a Cessna Citation (specific model of Citation not required)
- PREFERRED (NOT required!): A minimum of 250 hours PIC in a Cessna Citation (model not specific) within the past 48-months
- The ability to manage a diverse group of approximately 20+/- pilots
- Thorough knowledge of the applicable FAR’s, and the experience and knowledge to be the company’s primary point of contact with the SAT FSDO.

Responsibilities include:
- Reporting to Company DO
- Supervise flight crew personnel
- Advise DO and President regarding training and currency status of flight crew personnel
- Assist DO and President in formulating and coordinating operations policies and training
- Acts for the certificate holder, including the signing of FAA correspondence and operations specifications
- Coordinate with the DOM to ensure all aircraft are properly equipped and applicable for operations
- Maintains proficiency as pilot-in-command and IFR currency in FAR 135/91’s fleet and manages other responsibilities as may be assigned.
- Candidate will have a seasoned executive assistant and should expect to fly 5-7 days per month.
