Deputy Financial Director – Orlando, FL

Title of position:  Deputy Financial Director

Employment Location:   Orlando, FL

Job Duties:

  • Perform budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support corporate decisions of the CFO, CEO, and the Board of Directors.
  • Assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, supporting credit and debit tasks, responding and supporting audit requests, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis required by leadership.

Job Duties:

  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports. Regarding the 6 portfolio companies
  • Tracking KPIsand preparing consolidation financial reports.
  • Assisting with budgeting and monthly closing processes.
  • Preparation of Borrowing Base Certificates and Covenant Certificates
  • Assisting with audit requests.
  • Understanding key business drivers.
  • Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
  • Developing financial projections and building financial models.
  • Performing research and analysis as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA candidate or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling for an industrial business – preferably for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 aviation-based defense contractor.
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience. According to GAAP, 606 and 842
  • Working knowledge of financial strategies.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP, Oracle, or related financial systems.
  • Entity uses Component Control/Quantum and the Pentagon ERP Systems.
