FAR 135 Charter Sales Associate – Hybrid/Remote (Opa Locka, FL)

Title:  FAR 135/91 Charter Sales Associate

Employment location:  Hybrid/Remote (the position will be hybrid (3 days a week in office/2 working from home) for the first 90 days of employment and then will be remote.   Candidate must live in the Miami, FL area to qualify (and manage the first 90 days of employment – which will require 3 days a week in office).

Job Summary:

The Charter Sales Associate for a growing FAR 135/91 Charter operations company is responsible for assisting the Director of Sales and management of the sales team, and managing their own charter sales activities (Government, Broker, etc.).    As well, the Charter Sales Associate will also be responsible for managing the relationship with customers and potential customers/clients/aircraft owners and ensure they are interfaced with professionally and competently.  The overall goal of the FAR 135/91 organization is to provide safe high class aircraft charters, efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

  •  Increase charter sales and fleet utilization
  • Establish and build long lasting relationships with charter clients and brokers
  • Provide clients and brokers with accurate quotes in Avinode
  • Coordinating flights
  • Working with management on charter projects including government contracts
  • Prepare and issue quotes from requests received through brokers and wholesale channels
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to build and achieve monthly sales quotas and performance goals
  • Collaborate closely with the Dispatch department to resolve any client issues on flights
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact with brokers, clients, and other employees in a professional manner at all times
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support growth of the charter operation

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of Part 135 charter sales experience with a focus on customer service
  • Minimum 2 years of sales software experience in Avinode is required
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Salesforce and/or KEAP, and Schedaero experience is preferred but it is not required.
