Title of position:  General Aviation exp. A&P/IA Mechanic and Shop Supervisor

Location:  McCook, NE

Overview:

The General Aviation experienced A&P Mechanic with an IA certification Shop Supervisor will be responsible for providing inspection, troubleshooting and repair of aircraft serviced by the company in accordance with manufacturers and FAA requirements.  Additionally, this position is responsible for shop supervision.

• Possess a valid FAA Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) license
• Inspection Authority (IA) certification required
• EXPERIENCE – Minimum of 5  years’ experience with General Aviation aircraft (single and multi-piston)
• Perform routine inspections, repairs, overhauls, modifications of aircraft structures, systems, power plants and sign-offs, in accordance with applicable standards/specifications and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Perform annual, 50 hour, 100 hour inspections on a wide range of piston engine aircraft ensuring all airworthiness directives and airworthiness requirements are in compliance.
• Effectively interact and communicate in a professional manner with customers.
• Efficiently manage work hours and properly track labor hours for billing purposes.
• Possess a working knowledge of aircraft manuals
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining professional and non-confrontational attitude.
• Strong communication skills verbal and written
• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills
