Job Title: Marketing Coordinator (for flight school)
Job location: Melbourne, FL (in-office position – this is not a remote or hybrid position!)
Job Summary:
Employer is searching for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with company goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions and relevant knowledge of the aviation industry. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to manage many diverse projects at once.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular competitive analysis by evaluating internal and external factors that affect company’s business.
- Develop and implement a marketing calendar by identifying and scheduling promotional opportunities.
- Set and document marketing goals with a clear plan to measure and report success.
- Work directly with the finance department to set and utilize a marketing budget.
- Design or supervise the design of promotional material consistent with company’s Style Guide.
- Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals.
- Identify and execute improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.
- Conceptualize and execute multi-channel campaigns across the customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
- Conduct research to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to leadership team.
- Plan and manage meetings, conferences, trade shows, air shows, and other relevant events.
- Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field
- Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
- Experience with research using data analytics software
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Experience and/or interest in the aviation industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and Salesforce
- Working knowledge of design and search engine optimization (SEO)
- Experience working with budgets and forecasting
