Sales Manager (aircraft engine/component sales) – Remote/FL

Job Title:          Sales Account Manager

Employment location:  Remote (with occasional travel to company headquarters)

Reports to:         SVP of Sales

Company Summary:

Employer is headquartered in south Florida and performs required inspections, light repairs, and evaluation of engines during critical phases of engine lease initiations and returns, engine acquisitions and sales.

Employer’s FAA and EASA certified team can be dispatched world-wide in a timely manner to support a variety of aircraft engines, including CFM International, Pratt Whitney, GE, and IAE.

Employer services allow owner/operator to avoid unscheduled removals, reduce maintenance costs and optimize time on wing.

Employer is an affiliate company of a larger engine lease company (parent company) and the combined entities have foreign sales representatives in South America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.  The facilities together total over 80,000 square feet. The employer is a growing company and continues to seek talented individuals to join their team.

The employer’s parent company, leases, and sells commercial aviation equipment and services worldwide. Such includes complete aircraft, aircraft components, jet engines and engine components as well consumable/expendables and engine MRO services. Products include Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, Pratt Whitney, GE, RR and IAE.

Principal Responsibilities and Activities:

Employee in this position will be responsible for and/or perform the following tasks:

  1. Prospect, build and maintain target accounts proactively with required travel.
  2. Establish and negotiate Sales of services at accounts
  3. Maintain optimal account sales coverage to assigned accounts.
  4. Maintain superior communications with customer accounts and appropriate staff throughout the transaction process including ERP/TEAMs entries and systematic touch points with all targeted accounts.
  5. Maintain and communicate to managers and stakeholders appropriate market knowledge (customer trends, repair innovation, pricing trends, competitive evaluations) for all services provided.
  6. Participate in website and social media outlets with company messages and announcements.

Desired Background:

  • 5+ years commercial aircraft engine or aircraft component sales (and or repair sales) experience
  • 5+ demonstrated sales success with an established commercial aircraft engine and/or component customer base.
  • College degree and or commensurate work experience
  • Good working knowledge with Microsoft Office necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, organized, a team player, a can-do attitude, task oriented, coachable, adaptable, professional, and punctual, a self-starter and requires little supervision.
