Job Summary:
The employer, a business jet paint shop located in Melbourne, FL, is looking for a seasoned aviation sales professional with a background in aircraft paint services to support the expansion of their rapidly growing Corporate Aircraft Paint Shop in Melbourne, FL (North America). This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of sales strategy, customer relationships, and growth initiatives for a new business unit in the aerospace sector.
About the Role:
- As Sales Manager, you’ll lead revenue generation efforts, build strong customer pipelines, and represent the company at major industry events and trade shows.
- You will be the face of the organization for clients in the business jet/VIP, commercial, and defense segments seeking high-quality aircraft painting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and engage VIP/Corporate aircraft operators, MROs, completion centers, and aircraft resellers to secure profitable aircraft painting projects.
- Conduct customer visits to build relationships and stay ahead of upcoming paint RFPs.
- Proactively market the company’s full range of aircraft painting services.
- Develop, present, and negotiate commercial proposals and painting contracts.
- Support and oversee KYC processes for new and existing customers.
- Follow all company sales processes and standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director USA and Sales Director to ensure best-in-class service delivery.
- Maintain and manage the sales pipeline and contract database.
- Administer, update, and amend customer contracts as needed.
- Represent the Sales & Commercial team during internal and external bid-review meetings.
- Attend relevant BizJet/MRO conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
- Monitor market trends, opportunities, and risks within the corporate aviation, completion, and aircraft painting sectors.
- Provide accurate revenue forecasts and reporting in line with company requirements.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of MRO sales experience, preferably within the Corporate Jet / BizJet painting, MRO, or completion center sectors.
- Strong network of senior-level industry contacts in corporate aviation (essential).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple active opportunities.
- Proven ability to prospect, follow up, and close opportunities from initiation to contract award.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively track and report personal KPIs.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term, value-driven customer relationships.
