Job Summary:
The employer, a business jet paint shop located in Melbourne, FL, is looking for a seasoned aviation sales professional with a background in aircraft paint services to support the expansion of their rapidly growing Corporate Aircraft Paint Shop in Melbourne, FL (North America). This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of sales strategy, customer relationships, and growth initiatives for a new business unit in the aerospace sector.
About the Role:
- As Sales Manager, you’ll lead revenue generation efforts, build strong customer pipelines, and represent the company at major industry events and trade shows.
- You will be the face of the organization for clients in the business jet/VIP, commercial, and defense segments seeking high-quality aircraft painting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share across business jet, VIP, and commercial segments
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in aircraft paint services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales cycle
- Attend and represent the company at key aviation industry trade shows and events
- Collaborate closely with operations and leadership to align sales goals with delivery capabilities
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and CRM records
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace/aviation sales, specifically aircraft paint, MRO, or completions
- Deep knowledge of aircraft paint services (surface prep, coatings, finishes, etc.)
- Established network in business jet/VIP and commercial aviation
- Proven success meeting or exceeding revenue goals
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S. and attend industry events
- Based in or willing to relocate to Melbourne, FL preferred; remote candidates will be considered
