Job Title: VP or Director, Corporate Development & Integration

Employment location: Savannah, GA

Reports to: CEO

Position Summary

The Director of Corporate Development & Integration is responsible for building and leading a disciplined corporate development function that drives sustainable company growth through mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and integration. Working closely with the executive leadership team, this position ensures that inorganic growth initiatives are aligned with long-term value creation, operational readiness and culture integration to ensure successful outcomes and strengthens the company’s market position, product portfolio, and operational capabilities.

Essential Functions

• Strategic Growth Leadership
o Translate enterprise strategy into a prioritized acquisition and partnership roadmap.
o Build and manage a proactive deal pipeline aligned with long-term strategic objectives.
o Support capital allocation decisions through disciplined opportunity assessment.

• M&A Execution
o Lead end-to-end transaction processes including sourcing, valuation, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
o Establish governance checkpoints and documentation protocols.
o Coordinate cross-functional diligence across Finance, Legal, Operations, HR, Engineering, and IT.

• Market & Competitive Analysis
o Conduct ongoing industry, and competitive analyses to identify emerging risk and growth opportunities.
o Support strategic planning with data-driven insights into new markets, technologies, or product adjacencies.

• Leadership & Collaboration
o Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CEO and executive leadership team on growth strategy, initiatives, and risk assessment, related to both inorganic and organic growth.

Qualifications
o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
o Significant experience in M&A, corporate development, strategy, or investment banking.
o Proven track record of managing transactions and leading post-merger integrations.
o Ability / experience both domestically and internationally.
o Strong financial modeling and strategic analysis capability.
o Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technology-enabled environments preferred.
